Group classes bring us together to learn from one another. I find that participating in a group can inspire a sense of playfulness and create an atmosphere of trust. We are able to feel on a very deep level that we are not alone, and this feeling of community supports each of us as we gather to breathe deeply and move our bodies in a safe space.

A word about online instruction. Over the past few months, I’ve found that people find a rhythm with the technology, with themselves and with the group. They discover (just as I did) that even though we’re seeing onscreen images, we’re still seeing each other. We can still laugh and talk together. We can share and encourage, comfort and inspire. We’re still very human, still very connected.
